Pauline Serrano is a long-time Portland dancer and sambista She is an original member of Portland's first samba group, the Lions of Batucada,was a founder of the all-female samba group, Samba Gata, as well as being a founding member of Bloco Alegria, with whom she currently plays and dances. Pauline has been studying the music, dance and culture of Brazil for approximately 20 years, and we are glad she can join us today to share her experiences! Thanks for joining us, Pauline.
