Bio:

Mestre Junior started in Portela in 1997 and went through several samba schools such as the Grande Rio, Unidos da Tijuca, Mocidade Independente, Beija Flor, Viradouro among others

He started as a director in the bloco badalo de Santa Teresa and from there he was a director in the neighboring hall where he was already a drummer and so he arrived in Rocinha as a director and today as a Mestre. Mestre Junior was also a director at Cubango where he had also been a drummer and at Viradouro where he had been a rhythmist for several years. Today, in addition to being the Mestre at Rocinha he is also a director at the Imperatriz Leopoldinense
